The World

Thirty regions. Go where the shards you want are dropping.

Because regions are not level-locked, play is lateral and self-directed. Building poison? Descend into the blighted mines. Chasing divine relics? Climb to the shattered cathedral. Each zone is a place with a history, not a numbered stage.

A Sampling of Regions

A region's alignment decides which elemental creatures roam it, and therefore which shards it yields.

A sampling. Thirty regions span gardens, plains, calderas, frozen peaks, jungles, shrines, battlegrounds, and stranger places still.

Endless Challenge on Demand

Spend a zone's own aligned shards to permanently raise its boost level. Each level scales that region's monster quantity, health, damage, and drop rate together.

A gentle starter zone can be dialed up into a swarming, high-stakes, high-reward endgame farm — and back down if you like. The world does not shrink as you grow; it rises to meet you.

Permanent shard sink

Every shard always has somewhere meaningful to go, even after you've unlocked a family's whole spellbook.

Tune your own difficulty

Set challenge and yield to exactly where you want them, region by region.

Nothing falls behind

The places you loved early never become obsolete — you simply escalate them to keep pace.

Monsters, Elementals & Bosses

Elemental creatures share their family's two debuffs — so a fight teaches you the enemy's toolkit firsthand — and carry that family's weaknesses, making them prime targets for chain-and-weakness combos. They're also the source of their family's shards, which is why where you fight matters as much as how.

Ordinary monsters round out the waves and still eat the universal chain bonus, so nothing is immune to good play.

👑

Boss — Big Bertha, the Goblin King

At the crescendo of Spellwood Forest stands a two-phase brawler who resists your usual crowd-control and punishes sloppy positioning.

Phase 1 · 500 HP Phase 2 · 1000 HP Immune to freeze & rewind

Beat her and claim a random spread of shards from across all twenty-five families — a burst of currency that can seed a build in an entirely new direction.

The Heroes

The caster you pick sets your look and your first affinity. Any hero can wield any family's magic — the frost-mage who becomes a plaguebearer is playing the game exactly as intended.

The Player's Journey
Early — Discovery

You choose a hero, learn your first family, and feel out casting, chaining, and the weakness matrix against gentle regions. Shards trickle in; the shape of your caster begins to emerge.

Mid — Specialization

You commit to elements, then reconsider — refunding, reinvesting, chasing set bonuses across regions. You start boosting favorite zones and learn that "going back" is a way to level them up.

Late — Mastery

Boost regions to punishing heights, complete gear sets across the full 300 pieces, min-max stats into razor-sharp archetypes, and chase perfect chains against the toughest bosses.
